Incidentally, we shot, edited and produced the film and soundtrack on this site ourselves.
We captured most of the footage in three days then spliced in some shots we had storyboarded for Ascari when previously commissioning another South West company – Denhams. The benefit to Ascari is that the whole thing is royalty-free. Just before Christmas we received a call from a company in the USA. They saw the Ascari film, loved the soundtrack and have asked us to do the same for them. Don’t you love it when that happens? Watch this space!

The new Ascari website is now live, following an intensive 6-month marketing and design programme. We are delighted to have been involved from the project’s inception, working with Ascari’s senior management team to define the brand’s positioning and key messaging before we began filming, photography, design and web build. Ascari manufactures bespoke high performance production and GT3 cars, runs an exclusive private members’ club and owns an exquisite race resort in southern Spain. DNA is now working with Ascari to implement a sales and marketing plan specifically aimed at the UK market.

After weeks of careful planning, our creative director, Paul Mabin and lead designer on the Ascari project, Jon Price took their carefully selected photography crew all the way to the Ascari Race Resort in sunny Spain. With Jon directing the film crew and Paul directing the stills shoot the results were outstanding, helped in part by having Darren Heath, the official photographer of the FIA on the team and our own Sarah Znideric organising the entire event from back in our Torquay offices here in blighty.

Now starts the arduous task of sifting through hundreds of photographs and many hours of film footage…. Watch this space for the results!
