Thank you to everyone who donated to our ‘Go Yellow’ fund raising campaign in aid of Rowcroft Hospice – it’s been a fantastic success!

With your help, DNA raised £876, that’s 125% of our £700 target! As promised, when we reached each donation target, we underwent a forfeit – the last of which was a Banana Skinny-Dip in the sea! As you all know, we’ve been ‘Going Yellow’ to raise money for Rowcroft Hospice. Reaching our 2nd donation target of £400 meant that our Creative Director Paul (Jim was back in London – blast!), had to undertake TASK 2: ‘Banana & Custard’ -The Yellow Gunge forfeit! It’s that time of year again, when we at DNA humiliate ourselves in silly outfits in an attempt to raise money for Rowcroft Hospice.  For this year’s ‘Go Yellow’ day (March 31st) we are going to be performing a series of challenges IF we reach various levels of donations. Our tasks are likely to be uncomfortable, embarrassing or frankly ridiculous – your job is rather simple…

Pledge at our ‘Just Giving’ page here and make sure that we reach the donations required for us to make fools of ourselves. We’re determined not to be branded as Yellow Bellies so after we’ve endured a task we’ll be uploading hard proof – pictures or video updates – on the Go Yellow blog page… Be sure to check back often. The final £1000 Challenge will take place on ‘Go Yellow’ day itself and is certain to be quite the feat. Stay tuned for challenge updates!

From everyone here at DNA, we would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to those who kindly donated to the Rowcroft Hospice appeal. ‘Yellow Day’ was a fantastic success thanks to your support, and after a top-up from us, the grand total raised was an impressive £700! So thank you for your generosity; we really appreciate it, and we’re certain Rowcroft will put to good use. 

Yes that’s right, as part of our ‘Go Yellow Day’ for Rowcroft Hospice and in a bid to get some last minute donations, resident Iron Man (Jon) was sponsored to travel home by public transport sporting his full outfit. With last minute donations coming in and hitting our online target of £200, there was no getting out of it. Thank you to everyone for their support and enjoy the pictures! With time running out, we’re urging everyone for their donations and have taken to the streets of Torquay in the hope of creating awareness of the Rowcroft Hospice ‘Go Yellow’ Campaign. Iron Man has even revealed his secret identity for the cause! The dare to Jon (in the Iron Man suit) is to travel home by public transport in his outfit… However, we need to get the ONLINE total to at least £200 on http://www.justgiving.co.uk/dnaadvertising before the day is out! To support Rowcroft Hospice’s “Go Yellow” campaign, DNA are asking friends, clients and suppliers to sponsor the team to wear various ridiculous yellow outfits during our very own Yellow Day – Friday 3rd April!
