DNA have just completed a website design and build for Otone Audio. A growing name in the audio world, Manchester-based Otone works with a team of designers on the continent and collaborates with businesses in China to bring cutting edge technology and sleek designs to its range of PC speakers, laptop speakers and 5.1 surround sound systems. The new website has a flexible content management system and is fully optimised for search. DNA worked closely with marketing consultants The Green Agency and search engine specialists, 3 White Hats to deliver the project on time and budget.
The products featured on the website are not yet currently available to buy in the UK, coming to the market in the first quarter of 2012 and make up just a small number of the full range of Otone products. The site has a host of features that are currently hidden, such as customer and press reviews, downloadable product user manuals and links to suppliers for every product. Check back next spring to see the site in its full glory.

On Friday last week, Jim and Katie headed up to London to take part in the 2009 Subway Greater London Franchisee Conference. We went primarily to spread the word about our new web-to-print solution, but it was great to see some familiar faces too.
While we were there we had a cup of tea in the Ritz. As you do. Only £6-a-cup too… Bargain.
The web-to-print system allows our Subway clients to select, modify, personalise and order their POS and promotional items 24-hours-a-day. The system goes live in the New Year and should help franchisees nationwide to order print at their leisure, without incurring design fees for minor changes. If you’re interested in how this system might benefit you, give us a tinkle.

Search engines exist to provide relevant, useful search results for their users. They are not there to benefit companies who are proficient at optimizing websites. If you think you have thought of a clever way to fool them – forget it. They are not easily tricked and, if they catch you, they will probably ban you. For businesses that depend on leads and enquiries from their websites, this can literally prove fatal.
If you want to drive people to your latest, beautifully designed website, concentrate on the following tips for generating web traffic, and don’t cheat! Click here.
